Purchasing a franchise can be an exciting opportunity, but it is one that presents dangers and challenges. The franchisor may not have your best interests at heart. While being given an exclusive territory, many franchisees experience the problem of encroachment. A franchisor may place other franchisees close to territorial boundaries. The result will be diminishing returns. Franchisees may also disagree with how the franchisor is spending advertising dollars. Mr. Wronko is an experienced litigator in such commercial disputes.
