Are you considering a franchise-purchase
opportunity?
Purchasing a franchise can be an exciting opportunity, but
it is one that presents dangers and challenges. The franchisor
may not have your best interests at heart. Mr. Wronko will review
the proposed franchise agreement including provisions such as
surrender of premises upon termination, the covenant not to
compete, venue and choice of law, exclusive territory designations,
and any disclaimers. He will also review the franchise offering
circular to determine the franchisor's track record with other
franchisees.
Do you own a franchise that is mired with
problems?
While being given an exclusive territory, many franchisees
experience the problem of encroachment. A franchisor may place
other franchisees close to territorial boundaries. The result
will be diminishing returns. Franchisees may also disagree with
how the franchisor is spending advertising dollars. Mr. Wronko
is an experienced litigator in such commercial disputes. He
is also a member of the American Association of Franchisees.
Has your franchise been terminated?
If your franchise has been terminated, you may still have
recourse under various state statutes that provide protections
to franchisees. Mr. Wronko will ensure that the franchisor has
not run afoul of such statutes.
